Adam Baus

ADAM BAUS (Musical Director/Pianist, Candide) first performed Candide with Milwaukee Opera Theater in 2012, and is thrilled to bring it to life in Sturgeon Bay. An active pianist in Milwaukee for 13 years, he now resides St. Paul, MN where he is diving into the vibrant and active Twin Cities arts community. Recently, he was the associate music director for the Hennepin Theater Trust’s Spotlight Series. He music directed Urinetown at Macalester College, participated as a music director apprentice in the Wesley Balk Opera Institute, and was a composer for Nautilus Music’s
 Librettist Institute last summer. Adam recently collaborated as a co-composer on Lucky Lucifer, and is working on writing a musical specifically for young performers based on Carl Sagan’s Cosmos. He is the staff accompanist at Armstrong High School in Plymouth, MN. Adam is an avid podcast listener, cook, cocktail champion, and long-distance runner.
