Alan Kopischke

AlanHeadshot2016500Alan is thrilled to be working in his fifth TAP production. Over the last two years, Alan has appeared in A Walk in the Woods, The Drawer Boy, Oleanna and Sylvia at TAP, as well as Other Desert Cities with Theatre Z in Green Bay.

For many years Alan was a member of Peninsula Players’ acting company, then joined the staff as Development Director, developing and producing The Big Read Door County and The Play’s the Thing. Alan earned the Dramalogue Award for his acting in Tiny Dimes and has acted with American Conservatory Theater, Milwaukee Rep, Steppenwolf, and many others. Additionally, he has gotten his butt kicked on a regular basis in film and television on “Walker, Texas Ranger” and Feed the Fish, among others. Alan earned his MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater and managed the Audience Development Initiative, a large-scale arts collaboration in Milwaukee.

Alan now consults with arts organizations on strategy, fundraising and program development and is the Executive Director of the new Door Kinetic Arts Festival coming to Björklunden in June.
